The location of the Ashen Remains of Oleg’s Banished Knight can actually be found very early in Elden Ring. These legendary ash remnants will allow you to summon the spirit of banished knight Oleg. Oleg is a rather useful melee spirit who fights with two swords. In Elden Ring lore, prior to his banishment, he was one of two knights known as the Wings of the Storm. In this article, we will guide you to the exact location of Elden Ring Banished Knight Oleg Summon.
Where to find Banished Knight Oleg summon location in Elden Ring
The Banished Knight Oleg Summon Ashen Remains are located in the Stranded Graveyard, or to be more specific, in the Fringe Folk Heroes Grave dungeon. You’ll find the Stranded Graveyard at the start of the game, as it’s located in the Limgrave starting region. The entrance to the tomb is just southeast of Elleh Church, at the very edge of a cliff. Check out the map below where we have identified the location.
When you enter Stranded Cemetery. You will need to take care of the first imp statue in Stranded Graveyard. You will need to complete a small puzzle here, in order to remove the white fog barrier. See our guide for instructions. Once completed, it will unlock access to the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave dungeon. Now, we mentioned that it’s near the starting region and rather easy to find in the early game, but we have to warn you. We absolutely do not recommend entering this dungeon until you are at least level 30, as it is not an early game dungeon, despite its location.
Elden Ring Ulcerated Tree Spirit Boss Location
If you’re confident enough to descend into the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave dungeon and search for the location of Oleg’s Banished Knight summon, then read on. When entering, you will first have to cross a puddle full of toxic slime. Be quick, as it quickly applies damage that will kill you if you’re too slow. But that’s just the beginning, because now the real torment begins. You’ll need to drop down to the main room and fight the Ulcerated Tree Spirit boss, which will drop Banished Knight Oleg Ashen Remains. The boss won’t be a big problem, but the same can’t be said for the hallway that leads to the back.
The hallway is patrolled by a huge mechanical war tank that will grind you to pieces. The tank moves up and down very quickly, covering the entire width of the corridor. To avoid it, use alcoves on the sides of the hallway, but be careful as crossbowmen and swordsmen will also attack you. You’ll almost certainly die multiple times, but eventually you’ll get to the bottom of it. In the room over there, you’ll face Ulcerated Tree Spirit. This monstrosity has a fire-breathing attack and can crush you with its body. Occasionally it will dive towards you in an attempt to grab you with its jaw and jerk you off. It sounds difficult, but it’s actually a relatively easy boss battle. Once you beat Ulcerated Tree Sprit, it will drop 18,000 Runes, a Golden Seed, and the Banished Knight Oleg Summon.
Very early in your exploration of the Elden Ring world, you will discover that you must prepare your character for different tasks. You will have to learn how to use Ashes of War, use two-handed weapons or use magic spells during your adventures. Many secrets also await you, such as a hostile NPC Sellen who does not let you see his shop, an invisible man in a bush or a huge turtle with a bell that allows you to duplicate some very important objects.
