Pomeranian wind farm sp. z oo, which is part of the Ignitis group, signed on October 14, 2020 an agreement with the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) for a loan of up to PLN 150 million (approximately € 33.5 million ) for the implementation of the Pomeranian wind farm project which is under development in Poland. Ignitis Group has signed the first call guarantee agreement for this loan between the Company and NIB. As a result, the Company’s subsidiary, UAB Ignitis Renewables, which owns all the shares of Pomerania Wind Farm sp. z oo signed an agreement with NIB for the pledge of 100% of the shares of Pomerania Wind Farm sp. z oo in favor of the lender. Plans to sign these contracts were announced in the Company’s Material Event Notification on October 12, 2020.
The loan granted for the development of the Pomeranian wind farm project is expected to be repaid before December 31, 2035.
As previously announced (connect), Pomerania Wind Farm sp. z oo, which is part of the Ignitis group, signed on March 9, 2020 an agreement with the European Investment Bank for a loan of PLN 258 million (around 60 million euros) for the implementation of the park project Pomeranian wind farm.
The Pomeranian Wind Farm is located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland. The project is expected to be fully operational in spring 2021. The wind farm has an expected production capacity of 300 GWh of electricity per year.
